So I'm probably gonna make a sequel to Jetbot.

I was thinking, like the first one, but he has a laser gun or something on his face, that he can use to shoot triggers (that can open doors or something) and enemies.

All I pretty much need is an idea for a name. I was thinking 'JetLaserBot' but apparently that's shit. Then perhaps 'LaserBot'. Or even simply 'Jetbot 2'.

Also, I might need another artist for this game, so if you're interested, tell me or something.

Jetbot 2 is simple enough. AND in the sequel, make it so the collision detection is reasonable, so one can maneuver around the edges of the spikes without dieing when hitting nothing but air... It seemed like the ground and star detections were a lot more touchy that the spikes...which doesn't make for very much fun.

Names for it:
LaserJetBot
LaserBot where the Bot can fly and fire lasers
JetBot 2
GunBot where the Bot can fly and can fire with Machine Guns
RocketBot where the Bot can fly and fire Rockets

Also make some racing levels where you race against opponents and some Boss levels where you have to destroy the boss.

No offence, but I think the idea of having a laser glued on his face would ruin the whole awesome-ness of jetbot. How about just making the levels more puzzle based?
Or just add cool powerups, and portals!! Add some portals!! And sentry guns...you gotta have sentry guns ... or guns that talk to you in a high-pitched psychotic voice....so i like valve...big deal.

It was a bitch to come up with those first 30 levels, I don't think I'll be able to manage another pile. I guess if I add more enemies and stuff it could work.

The sentry guns are an awesome idea, but how would you be able to kill them?

I was thinking of portals in the original game. Or tubes or something. Decided not to go with it in the end, as it was pretty pointless.

Maybe the laser idea isnt that bad after all, I just can't see how it could be controlled easily. How about making the laser fire in the direction of the last pressed arrow, and then having mirrors and stuff around the level?
