Absolutely Brilliant.
While using the same general gameplay to the first Dark Cut, this was like a completely different game. I enjoyed the first Dark Cut a lot, and was only
disappointed with how short it was, and since that came out I have been looking forward to a sequel.
This one was a lot more advanced than the first, with all the different tools, etc, so it was slightly like a puzzle game, which did make it good, but the main bad thing about this new one was the timer. It went too quickly, especially on the first and second level. It was good, and made the game hard, but what would be good is if it would go a bit slower.
This new one was also a lot more realistic than the first, with actual photos, and very gory details. Although I am not disturbed by this sort of thing, I preferred the cartoon style of drawing.
The awards were a good addition to the game, and gave me a reason to replay a couple of the levels after finishing the game.
This one was a lot harder however than the first, I was even stuck at the first level, then it took me an hour to complete the second, but the third and last were easy and I finished them on my first go.
**Spoiler Below If Anyone Hasn't Finished The Game Yet**
I loved at how level 3, when you were nearly done there you were bombed, and how it told you if you wanted to live, you had to perform on yourself. This gave the game a basic storyline, which was great. However, again, the lack of levels was slightly disappointed.
Overall this was a brilliant game, much better than the first, and gave me a good couple of hours of enjoyment playing it. Please say if there is going to be a Dark Cut 3, and if possible respond to this review.
